Many have encouraged me to run for the House of Representatives seat in this district. My experience serving on the Blue Springs City Council gives me insight into needs of the community at the State level. I look forward to serving you the State legislature for a variety of reasons.

• I’ll focus on citizens’ needs. This is the very basis of decision making, not an individual’s personal agenda.
• As we see the nation move on issues, it is necessary to keep the freedoms and choices we and our forefathers fought for. States need to be able look at national issues to ensure we are doing what is best for Missouri.
• Education, health, public safety and jobs are critical to the progress and financial well-being of Missouri and District 54 residents. An example of this is the Missouri Innovation Park in Blue Springs, which will be of benefit to the Region and ultimately the State.
• Let's get back to common sense decision making and high ethical standards.
• Member on the Citizens' Advisory Committee for the School Board
